to _dl_setup_stack_chk_guard, as in glibc. SSP requires now binutils-2.16.1 and newer. Add NOT_IN_libc/IS_IN_libc. Began using -DSHARED in uClibc_main.c, there are more candidates in there. Move back dl_protect_relro to it's earlier place.

possible. Add clean targets for linuxthreads[_db].

archs lack proper crt1. The Makefiles in extra/scripts are intended to be linked into each dir, where it is necessary to build locally.

objects at once; use :=//$</$^; use CRT_SRC/CRT_OBJ/SCRT_OBJ/CSRC/COBJ/SSRC/SOBJ/MSRC/MOBJ where no more is needed, if only CSRC is present use OBJS directly instead of COBJ; CTOR_TARGETS are created directly in lib; remove unused/unneeded parts. Hope I haven't broken too much.

defer only for shared lib related stuff, because it is optional. Run STRIPTOOL only once. More use of /$^/$<.

ln.patch:
* Define $(LN) as ln in Rules.mak.
* Change all occurrences of ln into $(LN).
* Change all constructs like (cd path && ln -sf foo/file file)
into $(LN) -sf foo/file path/file. The latter construct is
already used in a number of places so it should not be
an additional compatibility problem.

|
rm.patch:
* Define $(RM) as rm -f in Rules.mak and test/Rules.mak
(this is the same definition as gmake uses by default).
* Change all occurrences of rm and rm -f into $(RM).
|
|
install.patch:
* Define $(INSTALL) as install in Rules.mak.
* Change all occurrences of install into $(INSTALL).
* Change all occurrences of mkdir -p into $(INSTALL) -d.
install -d is already used in a number of places so
this should not be an additional compatibility problem.

(i.e. openssh) do the right thing when used with uClibc's gcc
wrapper (which does not currently prevent system libraries from
leaking into the link).
