2007-03-18fix typo pointed out by Al StoneMike Frysinger
2007-03-17Have Makefile.in call conf-header.sh instead of having kconfig call it Rob Landley
via system(). Also move it to extra/scripts since it's a uClibc build script, not part of upstream kconfig. Adjust the "grabbing a new kconfig snapshot" procedure accordingly.

trunk/uClibc/extra/config/lxdialog.
2005-03-21Let mconfig support options specified using the menuconfig directivePeter Kjellerstedt
again (this code snippet seems to have vanished somewhere between the original Linux 2.6 kconfig code and here).

2004-10-08As noticed by egor duda, current_menu is declared as 'extern struct menuEric Andersen
*current_menu;' in scripts/config/lkc.h line 63, and this conflicts with static definition in mconf.c.

2004-01-16Minor updates from linux 2.6.1Eric Andersen
2003-11-04As Peter S. Mazinger has pointed out, the config system wantsEric Andersen
some defaults. So give it some empty defaults and let people select their own options.
2003-11-04Rework the config system. Better utilize the Kconfig languageEric Andersen
which should simplify enabling arbitrary architectures. -Erik
2003-10-21Doh! In include/bits/uClibc_config.h when we define things, we appropriatelyEric Andersen
prepend "__". Unfortunately, when we #undef things, we do not prepend the "__". This results in collateral damage to unsuspecting applications as we undefine random unrelated macros. Oops. For example, when compiling xfree86, libGLcore.a defines MALLOC for its own usage. But include/bits/uClibc_config.h then does an #undef MALLOC #define __MALLOC_930716__ 1 which inadvertantly trashes the define from libGLcore.... Ouch. The autogenerated include/bits/uClibc_config.h should instead have contained: #undef __MALLOC__ #define __MALLOC_930716__ 1 This patch makes that happen.

rm.patch: * Define $(RM) as rm -f in Rules.mak and test/Rules.mak (this is the same definition as gmake uses by default). * Change all occurrences of rm and rm -f into $(RM).

2002-12-04This is based on a patch posted to lkml by Petr Baudis on 23 Nov, which wasEric Andersen
then considerably hacked up by me. This eliminates the separate lxdialog and instead directly uses the lxdialog internals. This allows 'make menuconfig' to be much faster. -Erik

2002-10-31Ok, this commit is _huge_ and its gonna change the world. I'veEric Andersen
been working on a new config system on and off for about 6 months now, but I've never been fully satisfied. Well, I'm finally am happy with the new config system, so here it is. This completely removes the old uClibc configuration system, and replaces it with an entirely new system based on LinuxKernelConf, from http://www.xs4all.nl/~zippel/lc/ As it turns out, Linus has just merged LinuxKernelConf into Linux 2.5.45, so it looks like I made the right choice. I have thus far updated only x86. I'll be updating the other architectures shortly. -Erik
